Magnificent Swedish Sunrise

North Sea Obstacles

Our trip from Amsterdam to Germany skirted the North Sea where we weeved our way through fields of wind generators. We also had the occasional visitor aboard.

Amerstdam Botanical Gardens

One of the highlights of our Amsterdam tour was the Botanical gardens where we enjoyed a variety of habitats, from tropical rain forests and butterfly house to desert palms, right in the heart of Amsterdam.

Amsterdam Tour

We took a day off and rode the bus from Ijmuiden into Amsterdam and enjoyed a walking tour of the city. The canals were beautiful. We visited Anne Franks house, the botanical gardens, Van Gogh museum and the Red Light district. The most amazing thing were the bicycles. The parking garages did not have cars but instead thousands and thousands of bikes.

Aida in Camarinas, Spain

The hills around Camarinas, Spain were full of wind generators. We walked up the hill among wild flowers to get a closer look.
