We arrived in Villamoura from Gibraltar. Our last visit was 24 years ago aboard Coeur de Lion in 1984. It has changed a bit.

Spring comes Early Southern Italy

Our morning walks around Vibo are brightened by the fields of flowers on the outskirts of town.

Tropea, Italy

The Captain and Engineer took the 15 minute train trip to the nearby village of Tropea. This monastary sits on top of a rocky peninsula jutting into the Tyrrhenian Sea.

While in Venice we too a private launch to the Murano Glass factory where we watched a master blow glass after which we spent several hours touring room after room of fantastic art.

We were fortunate to visit Pula for a second time this season, docking right in front of the famous ancient Roman arena.

Egypt

Bill and I took a short trip to Egypt for our 42nd Anniversary. The ride in the desert to see the Great Pyramids were the highlight of a fantastic holiday.
