Lightning Strike

The Lady A took a direct hit from a lightning strike. We had lots of damage which has delayed our departure from Isle of Hope in Savannah. The photo is what is left of our single sideband antenna.

We spotted this Copperhead snake during our morning walk on the Isle of Hope in Savannah, Georgia. My friend, Noel Wright, a local resident and expert naturalist photographer, took several of my shots and created this stunning composite photo.

Wormslow Historic Park

On the Isle of Hope, Wormslow Historic Park is the sight of the first settlement in Savannah. We enjoyed a bike ride and a 3 mile walk even though it was on a day when the heat index was 110 degrees!
